What Gaming Desktops Need

gaming desktops
Gaming desktops used to be the biggest PCs ever known to mankind. In fact, some would go as far to say that they looked like giant supercomputers. Now, as computers get smaller and smaller, so do gaming desktops. All of the major companies do sell gaming desktops to consumers. The best brand is Alienware though. A gaming desktop has many components that must be mandatory in order to be considered a gaming desktop. RAM memory has to be at least 4 GB, as this will allow faster game play. The graphics card has to be top of the line. There has to be sufficient hard drive memory. Finally, the processor better be a Quadcore.

The Gaming Machines Out There

gaming machines
Gaming machines can be split up into video game systems and the personal computer. The PC has been around for a good 30 years now and has many uses besides gaming. On the other hand, video game systems are designed solely for entertainment. This has begun to change with the new generation of consoles. The Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii all offer Internet browsing and other applications in order to allow the gamer more convenience. While the popularity of these consoles continues to rise, the PC has not changed much. Games on the PC are still being played, but not as much as console games.

Having Gaming Surround Speakers

Gaming Surround Speakers
Gaming surround speakers are becoming more popular as people begin to seek a more realistic experience when playing video games. These speakers are basically the same kind that is found on home theater systems, just on a smaller scale. Surround sound gives a movie-theater feel to watching a movie or playing a game. It is much more immersive for the gamer and lets the player concentrate harder on the game at hand. On top of that, when friends see the setup they are impressed because it is not a cheap investment. These packages usually contain around 5 speakers and one subwoofer.

Keeping Track Of Gaming Statistics

gaming statistics
Whether every gamer likes to admit or not, they keep track of their gaming statistics. Many players say that they do not because it takes away from the games. But, in reality, most gamers keep track of the kills, deaths, and many other stats that are available for each game. For example, in Counterstrike, opponents will go after certain targets because they have a tendency to die. In general, most people at least look at wins and losses to determine their ranking. Obviously, the better your win-loss ratio, the higher your ranking. The gaming world is highly competitive and should not be taken lightly.

The Use Of Computer Gaming Guides

This meant there were multiple deaths and multiple continues used before the game could progress. Then came the advent of computer gaming guides. These guides were basically books that could be bought at a store and acted as a walk-through for the game. Nowadays, everything is on the Internet and it seems to be all free. This means that whenever you get stuck on a game, you can just look for the solution online. It is as easy as 1 2 3.

A Comparison Of Gaming Consoles

Comparison Of Gaming Consoles
This blog will be a comparison of gaming consoles. The three main consoles out there right now are the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. Graphically, the PS3 is superior to all of them. The Wii has the most fun factor due to the fact that it has party games for everyone. The Xbox 360 is stuck in the middle with decent graphics and some memorable games. So, which one would I choose? I would go with the Wii due to the fact that it is at a cheaper price. The game play on the Wii is always unique too. If I did not choose the Wii, then I would buy the PS3 just for its BluRay player.
