Gaming desktops used to be the biggest PCs ever known to mankind. In fact, some would go as far to say that they looked like giant supercomputers. Now, as computers get smaller and smaller, so do gaming desktops. All of the major companies do sell gaming desktops to consumers. The best brand is Alienware though. A gaming desktop has many components that must be mandatory in order to be considered a gaming desktop. RAM memory has to be at least 4 GB, as this will allow faster game play. The graphics card has to be top of the line. There has to be sufficient hard drive memory. Finally, the processor better be a Quadcore.
