Old Gaming Sites

Before everyone had cable internet, most people were using dial-up modems. During this time, the gaming industry was just beginning to flourish. The biggest game out there at the time was Starcraft. This game has become so big that there are professional players in Korea who get paid to compete. From this, sprung one of the oldest sites out there: Battlenet. This site allowed for players to find other players to compete against or cooperate with. To this day, Battlenet is still operational and thousands of users still play this game that is over 10 years old. Starcraft 2 is coming out soon and that will start the craze all over again.
